I love all things basset hounds, Elvis Presley, and LSU football. I am a graphic designer and illustrator who loves to help companies and businesses grow through the power of design. I have a bachelors degree in Fine Arts, concentrating in Graphic Design from Louisiana State University (LSU.) During my time in college, I become interested in videography and started my journey into researching and learning how to film and edit videos while maintaining school projects. I had many real world opportunities while at LSU, I did freelance work for a few on campus organizations as well as for McClendon Baptist in Monroe, La. While at LSU I also had the opportunity to work with a group of peers to design a marketing campaign for Louisiana Public broadcasting. The summer before my senior year, I interned with the multi-media team at CenturyLink where I got my first look at corporate design. I learned how to work within brand guidelines and how to work along side a team of designers while handling multiple clients and projects. After graduating I took a job at CenturyLink on the recruitment marketing team where I now do Graphic design and video work. I have created multiple design campaigns that have had deliverables in both print and digital media. I manage our social media designs for our Lumen Careers Facebook page, as well as for our Indeed and Glassdoor pages. I have worked with clients to create print and digital magazine ads for Equal Opportunity Publication, DiversityComm, and The USA Today. I had the opportunity to help re-brand CenturyLink to Lumen in the Summer of 2020. During that time, I also created web design mockups for the Lumen career site, as well as designing a few of the pages in the CMS platform. My hope for the future is to continue to push myself as a designer and illustrator while helping companies reach new audiences and grow their platform through meaningful, eye catching designs.
During my free time I am diving into the world of digital art and illustration. Learning new digital painting methods and brush experiments as well as studying and experimenting more with the video world. I would love to hear more from you on how we could collab to create custom designs to fit all of your creative needs!
(p.s. The adorable basset puppers in my logo is my basset hound named Elvis. To see more of his fun life adventures feel free to check out his insta page: @theelvisp 😄)
